Krakatau volcano (Sunda Strait, Indonesia): activity picks up again a bit

After a few weeks of mostly calm, activity of the volcano has again picked up a bit at the volcano.
Several small explosions occurred again from the active crater, which is now building a small cone in what is left of the crater lagoon.
Steam and ash plumes from the presumably phreatic or phreatomagmatic activity of the crater rose up to several hundred meters height.
