Everything it takes to get over someone is everything you hear over and over again: time, keeping busy, focusing on yourself and kids if you have them, etc. I took my kids and left their father over a year ago and had to start over all on my own, which kept me busy and focused on providing for my children since I had to do it by myself. This also all made me focus on myself and want to be a better person mind, body, and soul.
