You are sabotaging yourself by going after unavailable men. Happens to a lot of people. Self sabotage is huge with many people. Find out why you are doing this. You have some homework to do. And be glad you are single and not married with kids in a bad relationship trying to work on yourself. You are still young. Step outside of yourself and see yourself as a friend. Guide that friend to be good to herself. Love yourself.

And borderlines usually like to get sexual right off the bat. That is how they reel someone in. They are good at what they do. But there is always a price to pay for that kind of excitement. They don’t have much to them. So you are right. Get someone with hobbies. Someone with a life who has depth.

Yes, many Western women are unrealistic, narcissistic, and childish. Many Western men have arrested development, think sex is a right, and don't want to provide for a family.

Ultimately, it's about the breakdown of the family and respect for individuals. Both women and men are awful if you want to be truthful.

My husband is 5.8 same height as me. But that was never a factor. He doesn't even come across to me as someone who is short. He was poor as heck when we started dating too. It was his personality and essence as a person that drew me to him.

A HUGE problem with woman today is that they went to college.

Yep...you heard that right.

It's not that going to college is necessarily a young woman's fault. Our high school education system today basically pipelines everyone into the college system to keep the entire educational money whore system chugging along.

So, what happens in college?

I'll tell you, because I went to college (88-93) but I've spoken with a number of young men who graduated college recently. Not much has changed over the years, it seems to have really went to hell in the late 1960's.

In college, little girls get laid so often, they cannot even remember who, what, where, when, or why it happened. And so they "Blame it on the alcohol."

Oh yea...ALCOHOL! The great lubricant.

And by-the-time college is over, Daddy's little girl is now a confirmed slut. (OK not 100% of girls in college....let's say...97.3%...is that fair?)

My daughter goes to an all girls college. She wasnt even aware when she applied there. Its very tight knit. She loves it, but I hear her bashing men now, never heard such out of her before. She says she doesn't believe all men are "bad" but that most of the girls she knows there hate men with a passion. So disturbing to hear this. We are paying good money for brain washing.

If they are more help than a burden, keep them.

Many times all girls schools means lesbians and man haters. She needs to get out of there. Higher education is ruining young people. What is she getting a degree in?

Depending on the age of the woman and what part of the country they were raised - brings about the expectations of a man they are seeking.

Young women want a hottie. In the 30s they want the hottie with money.

What traditional women find in many men is - a guy that plays video games, doesn’t know how to do anything at all - can’t fish, hunt, shoot, protect her, repair cars, work on the home or yard, has no hobbies other then pizza, beer and movies and video games, doesn’t cycle, hike, swim or do much of anything.

Yet they expect someone to look like a porn star and act like one too, and for that pleasure the woman gets to work outside the home and pay 50% of the bills, all while taking care of the home and children.

Men need to fall into traditional roles at a young age if they expect to find a quality woman. They themselves need to be traditional men.

Work hard, your family is the focus, love your wife like no other, you won’t find a good wife dancing on the bar during the weekend - a quality wife will be out doing normal hobbies or at church or volunteering somewhere or cycling or whatnot.

He needs to work hard, full time provide for everyone so she can take the traditional role of caring for the family, kids, home and her man and not have to work away from home. (You know the prerequisite of foreign brides).

Stop expecting her to carry 50% of the financial burden on top of the expectation of the children and household and looking like a cover model.

Be grown up enough before you marry to understand if a human being is growing in your wife’s body, it is going to change her body forever and ever , stretchmarks, saggy skin, deflated boobs. So there better be true love to keep you together and not looks.

After spending so much times stateside and overseas with military you see the same song again and again.

Men marry foreign women, they never expect her to work outside the home. They give her literally anything she needs and wants while she takes care of the house, kids and him. And if the foreign wife does work, that is typically because her family has then been brought over by the husband and they either start a business or they care for the kids. I’ve seen it over and over where the American wives were not given that luxury. They were always expected to work and pay 50% of the household on top of outside work.

Men have the same problems that they say women do - men expect a hot looking woman. They might be short, balding, out of shape and totally introverted, bad teeth but still expect a woman that looks like a model. When they could have a great life with a nice woman that looked like they do - but instead they simply get a Filipino wife and everyone knows why without even having to verbalize it...

There is enough blame to go around and can’t rest squarely on the
shoulders of women.

There are still plenty of women around that are looking for men not based on looks or money. But you have to find them in other places aside from a dating app or Saturday night club crawl. Try getting out in nature on weekends, going to whatever church function, volunteering, whatever the hobby is that you should get into.

Well, if you are a controlling flirtatious nag, that accounts for anger management and control issues, and less than half of the men out there drink AT ALL, less than 10 percent to the point of a problem.

If EVERYONE out there has a problem, the problem is YOU.

The truism is that woman marry in hopes they can change their man into something 'better'.

You are paying for an art education degree? Why? What is she going to do with that? Kids I know with that degree are working for minimum wage now.
