Shows like "The Bachelor and the Bachelorette" paint a fairy tale where life isn't like that at all. Relationships are hard and it takes work to maintain them.

The "contestants" are at exotic locations and have extravagant dates that most normal people cannot afford and yes, paint some fantasy romance out of fairytales.
Latest Bachelorette season has a floozie picking boytoys and dealing with a toxic NPD and NOT PICKING the marriage material guy!!! Classic.
Finally the show is displaying what the Unrealistic Standards are and the audience is noticing. But the producers aren't clarifying, allowing the audience what is right and better choices are personally.
Shows like that only help project the illusion. One of life's lessons is to learn how to separate fantasy like the show from reality.

This season was finally different. A little more real.
She bangs the boytoy pilot in a windmill.
She keeps another boytoy toxic guy around until the end.
She falls for the other boytoy Country Singer trying to further his career with TV exposure.
And she dismisses the marriage material perfect man.
Same point the OP video is making.
BUT the whole story ends with her realizing what she did and the mistakes she made and her STANDARDS were fucked up.
Proving the point... current culture is messed up and we've lost our way in relationships. This is why 50% marriages (more) end in divorce.
So the more we talk about this, the better.
