OK - one mile of fishing line tied between two points at water level on a calm lake, pull tight and the middle will lie at 8" below water level.
Alternatively a gyro with it's spin axis aligned with the earth will show no 'apparent' precession - all others will.
Pendulum in N. hemishere will 'precess' oppositely from one in south.

Quoting: Johnny Be Good Good one, I'm not here too wipe your arse for you. Do you have any practical demonstrations of the claims made? Quoting: BTBIC 77892984 Done. Quoting: Astroshill Still unable to grasp the "practical demonstration" part or deliberately ignoring the requirements? Quoting: BTBIC 77892984 Observing a rocket land over the curvature is something I did in practice, it is a practical demonstration. Do I need to beat you over your head with my telescope to get it through your skull?
