Btw...the firmament was the sphere of metallic hydrogen that protected the earth from hyarmful rays. At the flood it condensed with ozone and oxygen and fell as trillions upon trillions of megalitres of water. Took 40 days for it all to precipitate. Thats why before the flood an average lifespan was 900 years. No harmful rays to cause genetic damage. Acter the flood...no firmament...lifespan reduce to 120 years max. It took aboug 400 years for enough gentic damage to be done to reduce it to what we know today.
