Parent to a 1st time student.
Back to school list.

What happens if I fail to purchase any school supplies for my 1st time student who is entering 4k this fall ? I did not call or talk to the school about it yet but I see the list on their website and I don't know if I can afford all these supplies !

Don't worry. Buy what you can.
Schools typically share supplies with those students who cannot afford all of the supplies.
So, please do not worry, your child will be fine.

God bless you.

Some churches have a ministry to help students with not only school supplies but backpacks. Make some inquiries. They help everyone, not just members or even believers.

School supplies need not be brand new and certainly should be used up. Be frugal.

Young children grow so fast. The same churches have clothing closets and you should see if anything might be used.

lots of people have full closets and basements with items that others need and clothing they cannot wear. Good neighbors trade gentle used children's clothing. Good neighbors repair old bikes and paint them and give them to children in the neighborhood.
