WHAT should the US response be? Hong Kong belongs to China so why exactly should we do anything ? Does China bitch about Chicago or Baltimore. The people in Hong Kong had several years to get out if they wanted with the offer of British passports, and many organizations offering to pay for their move. |

Guo then listed four major facets of the allegedly impending crackdown: 1. The communist party: will announce on August 4th that based upon the PLA Garrison Law and National security laws, the Hong Kong government has requested martial law be enforced by the PLA army stationed in Hong Kong. 2. WHAT should the US response be? I am thinking we will get to see what the US reaction IS during the next few days. Highly Likely that China WILL send it's military into Hong Kong to "eliminate" this idea that "the people" should have any role in running the government or determining it's policies. China wants to STAMP OUT that entire group of ideas before they spread to the Mainland. |

Hong Kong IS China now. Those people knew this was coming for 100 years. Anyone still there has no excuse to bitch. Delusions dissolve rapidly in a hail of bullets and flamethrowers.
