Earthquake at Fukushima

This is the nightmare scenario we have all been dreading. They have been saying for years one more earthquake in Fukishima, 6 or bigger will cause an uncontrolled melt down and global life threatening event. I urge everyone to stock up on Potassium Iodine.

6.2 is a pretty good size! I hope it didn't cause more instability in the reactors.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 and a lower 5 on the Japanese intensity scale hit off Fukushima Prefecture on Sunday evening.

No tsunami warning was issued.

The strong quake was also felt in Tokyo, about 250 km away, where it shook buildings.

Fukushima Prefecture is home to the crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant. It was not immediately clear if the plant was affected.
