A little advice for ya, OP, being a noob and all... Don't correct the spelling of someone telling another poster to "get a brian" or calling them a "moran."

I modified it... its the DARK SHITS which include the deep state and well more.

Indeed these are GLP hall mark words.... part of our culture. All coming from typos in the past that stuck... and now have a special meaning.

What is the Deep State?

Many confuse the Deep State with a conspiracy. The Deep State is not a conspiracy. There is no back room secret group controlling it.

The Deep State is the conscious and unconscious actions of those who derive their career, job or livelihood from government. Even without thinking about it, the natural reaction of these people is to PRESERVE AND GROW GOVERNMENT POWER, because (either directly or indirectly) it will make their own government-related job more secure.

Who participates in Deep State?

The media get their best sources of information from the government, and their jobs depend on having government informants who feed them insider information. Main stream media is therefore part of the Deep State.

Academics get their funding by producing biased studies that reinforce government policies and fortify calls for more government regulation. Deep State rewards them with grants for more "studies" to build their power.

Corporations love government, because they can buy-off politicians and bureaucrats to shape regulations to destroy competition. They build government by destroying anything that competes with the government as a solution to problems. Google and Facebook are parts of the Deep State as they help destroy anything that competes with the Deep State narrative. Chrony capitalism is the great kleptocracy; Deep State is it's master.

Defense contractors need funding for weapons programs. They push the narrative of foreign threats and that we're falling behind our enemies if we don't have new weapon development programs. They feed on the government.

All of these "outside" groups push narratives which support and grow the government, and they are rewarded accordingly.

But above them all: the BANKS. Global banks are the Deep State.

BANKS make money when governments need to fund wars.

BANKS make money when governments make promises for unfunded liabilities like Medicaid and Social Security.

BANKS make money when government make loan guarantees (student loans, home loans, etc.).

Study the history of the Federal Reserve Bank and you will see why it exists and how Deep State gets its power.

Again, people in the Deep State deny it exists, just as a fish doesn't think much about water, and a bird doesn't think much about air. They don't wake up in the morning and say "what can I do for the Deep State today?" They just act in their own self interest, growing the government, and growing the DEPENDENCY of all the debt-slaves upon the government. They love it when people look to government as their god.

Deep State HATES Donald Trump, because he does not need or participate in the Deep State narrative. EVERYTHING in the Deep State fights against him because he is a threat to their paychecks in one way or another.

The top ten richest counties in the US are the counties that surround Washington DC. The Deep State likes its comfort.
