I subscribed to SupMatto specifically so I could try to keep up with Borderlands news, especially BL3 news. SupMatto was pretty darn good at that, and I loved his enthusaism for the Borderlands franchise. That's very difficult to maintain over the course of some years when you can not get online with your copy of any of the BL games and play some online co-opt Borderlands fun. TheQuartering, I don't feel the "need" to drop everything I am doing online just to watch specific YouTube videos, but when YouTube recommended me this video specifically I felt that "need" immediately. I am genuinely shocked at this crap that happened to SupMatto. This sets up that dangerous precidence you mentioned, TheQuartering. This precedence, if anyone is curious, is other video game companies, especially EA and Bethesda, will begin to send their own goons to any YouTuber and/or anyone else they can successfully doxx to their place of residence. Imagine being forcibly confronted in real life by one or more video game companies' goons for up to intensely negative things you said about them online. From the sound of things they can somehow legally intimidate you in real life... for now. How much longer before things escalate to physical violence and even outright murder? I don't blame SupMatto for wanting to ditch YouTube for the foreseeable future, TheQuartering. It must feel absolutely terrible for him to actually feel his love for the Borderlands franchise begin to die or feel harmed at all by what 2K Games did to him in real life and online. I know I used to have a religious like love for so many games and franchises. One was the Mass Effect franchise... Feeling the unconditional love you used to have for a particular game franchise die is one of the most horrific feelings you can feel. I don't doubt one bit SupMatto permanently changes his YouTube channel's format should he ever return to YouTube after his forced vacation." This is quite possibly the single most important YouTube video in modern times for video games. So watch it before YouTube, 2K Games, and/or other video game companies kill TheQuartering's YouTube channel. Since apparently 2K Games can physically send goons out to a YouTuber's place of residence and intimidate said YouTuber, yet suffer no legal consequence as far as I know as of this post. We're entering exceptionally dangerous grounds now with these video game companies if 2K Games isn't legally and/or lawfully punished in the immediate future. Looks like Ready Player One is going to be a future forced upon us all in the near future, everyone... I hope he can stand up to 2K Games and Gearbox with a good lawyer at his side. It sucks too because I used to be pretty hyped for Borderlands 3. Now that hype is dead and gone. Upper Echelon Gamers did a pretty good informative video on the SupMatto Borderlands 3 Saga. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Even UEG himself says similar things as to what I said in my OP. All hell broke loose for SupMatto both online and in real life. How long is it before any of these gaming corporations completely destroy it's own users and/or any other gamer or gamers for simply discussing publicly known information about their video games? Such as discussing things you saw and/or heard in a game trailer can get your YouTube channel, Twitch account, and/or other social media accounts deleted, and you facing homelessness for quite possibly the rest of your life because a faceless corporation was overwhelmingly successful in bullying practically to death.
