I always prefer onion and green onions in recipes thought it is good in potato I suppose? That is where i first heard about a leeK

I've made a leek and potato soup, that was delicious! I usually just bake leek, feta and eggs in the oven.

i realize i type as fast as i do cos i leave letters and whole words out..

I have added to my cookware a pyrex 3 qt baking dish and i have those peaches.. and i have a killer cobbler recipe super easy.. i only got one chance at this i will eat the whole thing.. maybe freeze some.. maybe not.. the pan is only 3 qts?

can you use canned peaches or are you using your fresh frozen?

we just know each other too well!

i have fresh frozen colorado peaches in the freezer
a couple of qts prolly.. it is the perfect size for the peaches and the recipe which i have canned milk in the cupboard and wont have to use what ever. It comes out great an how but soo delicious when canned milk is used in the batter.

and we will take a brief pause for a rewind folks

i always leave words and letters out the words are cause my mind is always faster then my fingers and the letters are mostly the keyboard and bad typing or something hurts?

but its all good sort of got a bad finger tip on one hand.. a nail too short.

the cobbler recipe is for any frozen fruit.. i could freeze canned and use them. it bakes better if the fruit is frozen i have never used canned peaches for cobbler I don't know? must have as my grandmother used to can fresh. they would be good too but the cobbler needs to bake on frozen.

i will make sure you get that recipe..it is super easy. I just dont know where it is now?

I will have to get more festive with leeks I really like the fetta and egg bake thingy

I have a bag of frozen peaches too from the store, I think the canned might be too soggy. I would love to try this!

I am totally ready to make it now. I just need to find a leek lol. I'm going to make it with only egg whites and leave out all the butter and just a tablespoon of olive oil to saute the leek in. I used to use a whole stick of butter in it.

LOL I woke up early today and cleaned my kitchen! It's so much fun! LOL Seriously, it is because my husband isn't home and I love to clean early and I finally can!!!

It's so easy, just leek sauted in 1 stick of butter, 8 whole eggs and lotsa feta cheese, maybe 1 whole supermarket sized block. I buy it by the bucket in brine and I use about that much I believe. That will fill and 8x8 pan. Season with little salt and just black pepper because the cheese is salty if in brine.

Tomorrow I’m gonna make omelets!

That’s my boys job to clean the kitchen at night.
