Earlier, I heard a knock on my door and some giggling from out there. I opened my door and there were two yellow rose buds propped up on one another in front of my door. I smiled, picked them up and brought them inside. Then I heard the door again....heh, I wanted to catch them. I was sure it was my neighbor's granddaughters, up to fun mischief. So, I opened my door, stayed on the outside and made it seemed like I had gone back inside by closing the door....heh, one of them stuck their head around the corner, harhar....GOTCHA! I'm pretty sure I scared the winkle right outta her.....  They said they just wanted to give me some flowers. The second one was a big pretty pink rose. It's funny because just a few days ago I was telling someone about how I really don't at all like getting cut flowers....I mean, they're murdered flowers....  And here these little girls are just touching my heart so much with their kindness....by ripping the buds right off their bodies and laying them at my door....   ....ahem.Perhaps I need to lighten up about the flowers....but it's hard. They have life, too. A dear friend suggested to press them to remember the wonderful moment and so that they don't completely go to waste, so that's what I'm going to do. Sweet girls, lovely and fun moment.... You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
