It was a good funeral. The man was a Marine, and also a police officer and at one time the chief of police in the town.

The fire dept and the police dept lined both sides of the walk into the church. I hadn't been in a long time.

They shut the whole town down for the procession.

The Marines were waiting at the cemetery. There was the three volley salute at the grave site and the presentation of the flag to the spouse.

You couldn't ask for a better send off.
