Quoting: Bodi Doc Just like with the spoken word, once it’s out there, you can’t take it back Freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can incite people to violence, mayhem, and murder. This is not a threat from a moderator. Just what I am seeing. If a topic gets you emotionally triggered, don’t impulsively respond. Walk around the house first. Words have lasting meanings Having said that, I have never seen people so emotionally charged about these divisions in our country, and I was around during the Vietnam protests. Something is gonna break soon, and it feels like it will be tumultuous for all generations in the US. Oh gee lookie, lookie here: Someone talking as if he knows what he's talking about. Do you even know the legal standard for Incitement? Did you know that under Brandenburg V. Ohio, (US Supreme Court 395 U.S. 444 (1969)) "the mere advocacy of violence or of law violation is protected speech unless the words meet both parts of a two part test? The words must be MEANT to incite violence, AND; The words must be uttered in a context where "imminent lawlessness is likely to occur." The Internet never qualifies. Ever. Not even once. Because everyone who reads anything on the Internet has time to THINK about what they're going to do. Then they need to actually GO SOMEWHERE to do it. Thus, the Internet is not a context wherein "imminent lawlessness is likely to occur." Hence, people can write pretty much anything they damn well please on the Internet and it is protected speech. But all the half-assed tyrants out here who THINK they know the law, spew the kind of crap you spewed as if it means anything. It doesn't. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76733064 United States 08/09/2019 10:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | quite a few years ago I lived in a communist country. I remember how people were afraid of saying something which might get them into trouble, getting locked up or even killed. and now I have to acknowledge that people here are afraid to voice their opinions freely here too. I know what living under communism/tyranny means, the ones embracing it now have absolutely no idea what they are wishing for, none. it will always be the socalled "brownshirts", one could always call traitors, they will go after first. |

Quoting: Bodi Doc Unfortunately, you are correct. The CIA never gives up. I've had enough time to study its operations over here, in Serbia (and long before that, in Yugoslavia, starting with the war in 1990) and, if anything, one has to respect the mindless persistence of the CIA psychopaths. Like, for example, just the other moment... "I'm so close to figuring it out!", said the CIA neurospecialist-mouse psychopath of the cat he was observing, all the while believing, with absolute certainty known only to the completely and utterly clinically insane, that he was the cat, and that the cat was the mouse... ... just before he got eaten alive... ... and all of his insane psycho worries suddenly vanished, as if cured by a miracle... performed by the predatory Universe... and a little bit of help from the Toxoplasma he was infected with (as all psychopaths are), without even realizing the fact. ... There's only one way out of all of this... and it involves feasting on the CIA's remains... which is now still-not-quite dead, but is quickly dying of incurable, terminal illness that has more in common with clinical insanity than with any biological or viral infection -- the inescapable mental deterioration of psychopaths, in terms of both logical and rational thinking. Expecting to be able to predict and control actions of complete lunatics at Langley? Better think twice about your folly. Chaotic, completely random behavior is the natural (and inevitable end-) state of all psychopaths. The CIA ones are no exception to the rule. |
