Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77801029 If I may I'll answer that for you since I too am of that generation [I'm 67]. YES, they were some of the most tumultuous times in recent memory when young people especially took to the streets to protest both real and imagined injustices [I walked a few protest marches myself!] so in that that sense nothing has changed much. The BIG difference is that young people fifty years ago had a better grasp of their world because their info wasn't tainted from believing everything they heard/saw/read randomly represented on forums such as this. And, even the most hardcore among them still possessed a level of civility when sharing their views. NOT SO TODAY! What has changed are the levels of personal intolerance fuelled by a faction dedicated to spreading the seeds of dissent.... and here I'm referring specifically to the media at large. In the late 50's/early 60's the MSM [which actually consisted of only newspapers/magazines, radio and three TV networks] there was still an established responsiblity to report only the truth and avoid deliberate obfuscation. Today we are seeing the polar opposite of that as the media panders to the most extreme views possible to enhance their own control over the masses; and that influence has carried over into everyday lives, which is why we have such arrogantly defiant posters on this forum: they are the product of a corrosive society and -quite literally- nothing more. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77801029 Bodi? Or can anyone speak to this? It’s a serious question. I wonder becuase I am trying to understand if what we are seeing today is different or more heated or a repeat of times past. Often as you age you see history come around again under the old saying history repeats itself. Is this a repeat or is this new? Sometimes I think they hype stuff to make us feel like the climate is different when in actuality we have been here before and all worked out well for awhile. Maybe you're just paranoid, pudders. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77042040 08/09/2019 10:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Demonic entities are real and they're not what you think they are. They work on a spiritual level and the best way I can describe the energy they give off is "negative vibes." Quoting: tcs The skies over cities/towns are filled with them. Some are much larger than a football field. Next time you feel angry, think about what is fueling that anger... "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." ~Ephes. 6:12 Yes, there are dark demonic forces, using our own thoughts, emotions and memories against us, to get us to trigger and amplify our own negative experiences and emotions against ourselves, loved ones and strangers to destroy any goodness to flourish. One has to be like a fish out of water to be in a calm neutral environment to sense this happening in real time to stop it in real time. These forces think a lot faster than we can. Instead of ranting, raving and responding in kind to another's rant & raving, one can simply recognise those persons are being used against one who is trying to reason with them, by devious malevolent intelligent forces, who exist outside our sensory perception and solid material field. Bit like an Agent Smith in The Matrix entering someone who is physically close to the person they want to inter-act with in a spiritual battle. We scan with our bio-logical senses for any dangers, but the mind also needs to scan inside of one selves to detect any inner mind infiltration & possession. I used to be one of those who didn't think before I spoke or wrote anything, esp: being a fast touch typist, so it got too late to withdraw or correct anything silly. I've got that Ephes: For We Wrestle Not Against Flesh..etc' in a print-out on my wall to remind me to 'think and review' my own mind before I unleash it. These dark forces all around us, are not material solid like we are experiencing within our biological bodies. If one thinks their computers can be read without permission, our thoughts & memories are 'out there for all to see' to whoever is able to read peoples minds. |
