Quoting: SoberLife My step son is about to start 8th grade. We had a recent family tragedy So financially restricted at the moment. I'm scared to send him to school with the same clothes as last year. Children can be assholes and we've had previous problems will bullies in the past. I've browsed local thrifty stores but it appears others got there before me. Does anyone have any experience with salvation army, goodwill, or any other organizations? I'm looking for guidance on who I can reach out to for help. Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you! Absolutely. You can usually find some real nice stuff for dirt cheap. I am SNOWIE. WELCOME TO THE NEW ICE AGE. TRY NOT TO STARVE. |

You can call the school and see if they have any suggestions, most schools have a counseling office that could point you in the right direction. Your help is probably going to come locally, so its better to ask within your community. You can buy inexpensive, but popular brands kids wear from Forman Mills, Burlington Coat Factory... not sure if these stores are in your area. |

You can find lots of local resources and many that specialize in back to school. May God bless you for wanting him to have what he needs to be comfortable and confident at school.
