Jupiter is very bright(visible with the naked eye). Escpeially through a telescope. Exposing for Jupiter will not register starlight.

Very sweet. What I don't get is that with my telescope I don't get that great resolution like you did but I pick up 4-5 moons. Where are they in your video?

You can see Jupiter with the naked eye, it’s very bright currently, can’t miss it. Notice no stars immediately surrounding it.

Where were the tears from the "moon mission?"

Oh wait. There were none.

It's nice to see how jupiter actually looks and not their "color correction" bs.

Anyone know what the actual color of mars and venus are?

I've heard in visible light venus is actually a bluish color.

Jupiter, like the Earth has a slightly elliptical orbit ranging from 507 million miles(816 km) to 460 million miles(741 km).

Digital cameras have different spectral profiles and different adjustments needed for white balance. CCDs and CMOS devices do not perceive color the way the human eye does, they are ALL approximations of human vision at best. Add on top of that other factors like atmospheric reddening and the result is that a given photo may look quite different than how your eye would perceive it in the eyepiece at a different time. Here are some images of Venus I have taken over the years:
Venus121713
venus122616
venustelescope
Each was taken at a different time of night or day with Venus at a different place in the sky and a different phase angle. The color can change depending on altitude above the horizon, white balance setting, and whether or not I have the infrared blocking filter in place.
