So much work having a 10” Dob and a massive equatorial Mount to be properly aligned to the North Pole. :( Last Edited by Bomb Cyclone on 08/13/2019 02:48 PM |

Quoting: Tatsuya Anyone know what the actual color of mars and venus are? I've heard in visible light venus is actually a bluish color. These are shots of Mars and Saturn I took with a Canon 30D rebel and a Celestron Nextstar GPS 11. Anyone can see Mars has orange rust color with the naked eye. Same with Saturn has yellow color. |

User ID: 77421124 Canada 08/13/2019 03:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | On Aug. 11 of this year, I got a photo of Saturn beside the moon at around 9:30pm. I'm not going to show the photo unless I get a request because it only looks like a "star" beside the moon. Of course, I know it's Saturn because I read up on it and was watching for it. Here's the astronomy website that I use: [link to www.skyandtelescope.com (secure)] Last Edited by tcs on 08/13/2019 03:27 PM " Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord." ~ Jer. 17:5 "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" |

The wailing and gnashing of teeth would be unbearable. It might even trigger that anal prolapse obsessed troll to start flooding the forum with his fetish shit again. |

Notice no stars immediately surrounding it. Because it's through the telescope. Wow, the lack of science education in this country is why we have so many crackpots and why the elite are so easily capable of manipulating people. Pardon the Great Unwashed for not being as WISE as you, oh GREAT ONE. |

Great images of Jupiter. Awesome! I am not really an astronomy "expert," but I find that VERY hard to believe. Enlighten me. Instead of shilling why don't you get a 50x70 set of binoculars and try it? You deniers never do. |

All I said is that I find what you wrote very hard to believe since they are binoculars that you say you have. I thought that Uranus could only be seen with a telescope and even then it is not as clear as the telescopes NASA has. Since it is farther away than Jupiter and Saturn. If that is a wrong assumption then ok, but no need to get defensive. No need to assume I am a shill either. What is it that people say? "Don't assume...…….." |

I don't own any binoculars but I would borrow some from a friend. Thank you for the brand. And what direction in the sky do you point them at? During the nighttime or during the daytime? Coordinates also, please. I said I am not into astronomy so I need that information to verify what you are saying. Again, no need to get defensive.....but thank you for the link. |
