The thing is that HK did revert to China. So I dunno what they expect, China isn't going to let them become another Taiwan.

Really their only option to me seems to be to relocate and rebuild all the businesses from HK somewhere else that already has the democracy they seek. Cuz there is no feasible way they are going to wage a war against mainland China from one city on the coast.
