When people (friends, family) have labeled me a CTer re 9/11, I've asked them to give me 5 minutes of time to show them why the OS is a conspiracy theory in and of itself.
How many takers? None. I must be doing it wrong, I thought. But after a while I realized that the alternative to the OS is simply too frightening for the sheep to consider. Normalcy bias and cognitive dissonance... Welcome to the twilight zone....

Mind you, I have seen CTs and exposed them here. E.g., TWA 800 WAS shot down by our own missile test. I knew it the moment it happened because I had been briefed years before. Not a CT in itself, but the coverup WAS. There are still people who believe the bogus "center fuel tank explosion" explanation, but they do NOT include Boeing engineers.
Now, I must reluctantly conclude that somehow, Bldg 7 was wired for demolition...and it came down just like the towers.
The lesson to be learned is to NEVER trust the MSM or the government regardless of what party is running it.
And NO, I don't think the Illuminati, or the Pope, or the Masons, or aliens run this world. In my experience, there are THOUSANDS of actors, each with its own agenda. No one group or person controls it all. At least, that is what I observed.
Just in DC, I saw corporations, political parties, churches, countries, unions, and everyone else vying for power and favors. They use bribes, votes, or even assassinations to get what they want.
