Several high-profile Senate Democrats warned the Supreme Court in pointed terms this week that it could face a fundamental restructuring if justices do not take steps to "heal" the court in the near future. The ominous and unusual warning was delivered as part of a brief filed Monday in a case related to a New York City gun law. Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, Richard Durbin, D-Ill., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., referenced rulings by the court's conservative majority in claiming it is suffering from some sort of affliction which must be remedied" The Supreme Court is not well. And the people know it," the brief said. "Perhaps the Court can heal itself before the public demands it be 'restructured in order to reduce the influence of politics.'"The last part was quoting language from a Quinnipiac University poll, in which 51 percent favored such restructuring. In the same poll, 55 percent believed the Supreme Court was "motivated by politics" more than by the law.Fox news. The Legislative cant tell Judicial what to DO!!! Time for Term Limits, these POWER CRAZED people need to be put out of the Halls of Congress. The 2nd Amendment is a RIGHT that shall not be abridged. Sens. Corporate Feudalism has taken over all vestiges of government- think of market shares as feudal kingdoms, apply the ubiquitous presence of corporate/elite serving PACS and Lobbies -all allowed by the constitution, and you'll see how what runs the world works through US governance. What is Needed: Term Limits; say yearly elections WITHOUT the ELECTORAL COLLEGE DELEGATE SYSTEM, with terms of two years each, staggered so NO ONE CLASS serves more than a year together. All appointed or elected government positions become by elect ONLY -no lifetime terms. NO PACS and Lobbies; all candidates get equal air time and funding; availability to funding naturally tiered, according to stage of election process and only accessed by candidates in the sense that they speak at the venues, participate in the debates etc. Department of Defense will autonomously (independent from any other branch of government) assess threats and formulate appropriate responses in the interest of the CITIZENS they serve. -Some measure of checks and balances will have to be introduced, making this branch accountable to other branches. EVERY branch is solely charged with serving its citizens, the president's sole job becomes heading the administrative branch. Department of Treasury prints its own money and never (again) falls to the interest-debt paradigm run by the Federal Reserve. -The Reserve System IS global, wake up: Thread: CURRENT STAND AGAINST THE FEDERAL RESERVE Because money is to be reevaluated from scratch, (read the info at the OP linked) a fundamental assessment of what currency is and what function it serves is in order.
