Here's the problem - "Americans" expect $12 an hour for a low-skill job -- and probably expect "health benefits" too
and they would probably complain about "bad working conditions" or "the animals are suffering "
then they wonder why a company would hire "illegals"

I'm hiring the "illegal" *YOU* are the problem. Adjust the salary you offered 30 years ago for inflation, then tack in increased cost of living, and tell us what you come up with? A true cost and inflation adjusted minimum wage from 1965 would now be around $21/hr. It's really that you want more for less.
