The problem is that people who have become accustomed to freedom wont let go of it easily.

Meanwhile, people who have known only tyranny become harsh enforcers and willing participants in slaughter of innocents.

This is going to end badly, just as it did with Tiananmen Square but it will shine a light on how brutal the Chinese regime really is for those who forgot and those who were brainwashed into believing that socialism and communism were viable options in freedom.
