I appreciate Trump is in a difficult position right now.This Honk Kong Maidan is happening during the US - China trade re-negotiations.

That dosent mean the Chinese can get away with murder.Trump will hold China fully accountable.

However Trump being a shrewd business man might use Hong Kong Maidan to screw the Chinese for a much better US trade deal.

First and foremost US Exports/workers jobs will obviously take precedence over anything else.

Honk Kong Maidan might be deliberate,ammunition to screw China for a better trade deal for United States.

I dont think Trump will throw Hong Kong under the Bus.He will make sure that United States implements conditions for Hong Kong and that the Chinese do as they are told.That United States will reserve the right to act if necessary.
