Judge Napolitano just might change his answer if that Sandy Hook kid had aimed his rifle at the judge. There has to be some way to restrain mentally ill people from obtaining guns. We don't let drunk drivers drive because they present a serious risk to the public. We can no longer let mentally disturbed people use guns to kill citizens. Society must choose the safety of innocent civilians over gun rights for the deranged.

There should be due process in the enforcement of so-called Red Flag Gun Laws, just as there is due process by a judge to take away the drivers license of someone who has a DUI arrest. A hearing with testimony from at least two mental health care professionals should allow a judge to revoke gun possession rights of a mentally ill individual.
