Israel would have been great if they left the Babylonian Talmud alone , the Sanhedrin wasn't allowed to trump the Torah, and didn't sneak the Noah hide laws into the U.S. which is the promised land.
A new Covenant means a new contract with a new people.
Jehovah, Yahweh is allowed to change His mind and not be pestered with legalism.
