Yahweh has already settled and accepted the pay off.
Only thing left then is for us poor souls to invoke this contract (mentioned above) at the time of transition...said to work like a charm if you believe it.

The whole notion of faith vs works is essentially a product of the Greek parasite in your mind that is struggling to understand the Hebrew mind.
In Greek, faith is simply one's belief.
Believe in A = Faith in A.
Where in Hebrew Faith is only Faith when it is faithfulness.
You can believe in G-d all you want, but if you are not faithful, you have no faith.
Also, again, very Greek to think about securing a good after life (kinda like Hades is dark and cold, but now there is option B)
But as for Hebrew, the after life are a waste of time.
The true salvation is not getting a seat in heaven, but bringing heaven down here - restore the world to the state of Eden.
