It seems like the practice of using turnings and shavings and in a 50/50 metal/resin ratio is something that can be improved upon, and the impression I get is people are just repeating what they've heard on that topic...........I've been using metals from electronics and manual filing some "structural" metal and probably using about 5 to 10 percent metal at most and I am seeing good results........
