I have worked for a major financial institution since 2011, mortgage side, our parking lot and building are incredibly empty. Cafeteria staff is minimal now, sitting here at lunch thinking about how much longer I’ll be here. Not at all worried about it. My team has shrunk from 30 to about 7 of us. Keeping missing the lay offs and cuts. For those of us still here we can’t help but wonder when.

This is all gibberish nonsense to the average joe who represents 95% of the population. They’d figure it’s some sort of countdown to whatever. The 5% who control the destiny of the 95% are truly evil and God’s wrath (vengeance) has long been reserved for that great and glorious day! Glad I’m one of the 95% who don’t gives a rats a** about the voodoo economics of our age. Time better spent focused on my salvation.

I went Galt 15 years ago. Fed up and well off enough to do it.

NOT in nominal terms but in real terms possible. By nominal terms I mean the actual reading on the Dow. The Dow could move to 100,000 or higher, a 4x increase in the Dow. But if the price of an apple goes from the current nominal price of about $1 per apple to $1000 per apple or gasoline from $3 per gallon to 3000 per gal you would have lost virtually all your real wealth.

Americans have no concept of wealth in real terms. If you measure your wealth in ounces of silver or gold or pounds of chicken or gallons of gas it will give you a completely different perspective.

Theres clearly NO big crash or panic.
