4 died 2 days ago in one storm in southern Poland. How many times are there multiple deaths in a single storm? Historically a lightning strike in Kentucky killed many because it caused a huge explosion, but for people getting struck down it's very rare to see more than 1 or 2 in a storm event.

Could be one-off or could be the beginning of something different. Those 12 deaths here are all single day deaths.

This video shows severe weather events, including fires which create severe weather. The events are all in August around the world. I didn't count them. Seemed like about 10 to 12.
