A few years later I'd perform Crowley's "Bornless Ritual" (Liber Samekh.) This was also in late August or early September...2014. [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

What was kind of interesting about this one were the physical effects that occurred. No psychedelics were employed.

This one was a bit "late" in that I'd already had years of prior experience with the Ars Goetia, but this just felt a bit more ...formal. It's actually more of an "exorcism" than anything else.



The majority of the ritual is the calling of many names, so there's not much worth mentioning here.)

Some time into the ritual, lightning started erupting from the sky, but there was no rain. One barbarous name after another, the lightning came with greater intensity and number (no sound or rain) as the ritual was performed. The lightning subsided after completion and everything was back to "normal."



Did you know that demons also come in plushie form? Aww, how cute...

That's certainly interesting. I thought they had more of a passing interest rather than that!

Crowley's only surviving son died around 2000. He had changed his name to Randall Gair. Car crash, I believe? He never once did anything his father did.

I don't think that he is a very happy camper right now.

Always only a matter of time before Judethz shows up, eh?

I completely forgot that I had made a silly Crowley-esque take on an infamous video game many years ago... Zero Wing. (It was well-known to have a really horrible "Engrish" translation.) I edited the cut scenes to feature some Thoth and Enochian Tarot "jokes" among some others...

That's a nice little scholarly bit there. Much better than the oft-tainted public discourse of the man's work.
