I think I have a good start on an Enochian version of O Holy Night. Should be able to start a collection of beloved Christmas carols in Enochian. Now I just need to work out the rhythm and metre.

So, I've reworked the translation, and I think this works much better in lyric poetry. It actually sings. I'll keep working on lyrics and see if I can work out an arrangement.

You know, I was thinking, I don't think Enochian really has a personal vocative so I can drop the s.

Now that works. Enochian is a language of absolute minimalism like Hebrew. No flowery vocatives, just the thing. :-)

I know what I can do. I can pattern this on the Arabic version. Arabic is a general, modern semitic tongue that will give me a framework for Enochian minimalism. I'll work on it a while. It'll give me a chance to kind of feel this language out. How does it sing? What is it wanting to do?

Here's how I was introduced to this language, becsuse I've never told anyone.

Before I ever knew what this language was, I'd already received some word s and fragments in dreams and such. For instance, I'd received the word:

(Which is like "a through-thrusting fire" or "fiery darts.")

...I thought it seemed Greek, but that didn't really make any sense so I kind of ignored it.

When I had a dream being given a special dagger with similar-looking letters written on it, I started to realize something strange was going on. Then when I finally stumbled across Israel Regardie's Golden Dawn material and saw the Watchtowers and the full alphabet I couldn't really believe it...
