Any designers out there?

If it didnt take you long to do, and its kind of done as a favor you could charge anything from $50 to $200+.
Depends on the size of the illustration (A4 or bigger)?
And if they will make any money of the design, then you take that into account.

No. Charge $35/hr...

A one page design can mean maaaany things and if you are worth your butter, get paid for it.

I took about an hour to design it. I was only asked at 10 am this morning. couldn't start till I got off at 5,and had it to her by 6:30. I incorporated the requested text, colors, school mascot, and even rendered a line drawing of the old school (since torn down) as a background image.

I would love to do something like this on the side, if not for a living. I have no training though, and wouldn't know where to start. Everything I do I learned from just playing with cheap design software. I do the graphics for our church sermons each sunday. I get the sermon notes at 10am, and have to have everything designed and ready by 11am. The only software I have then is Paint and Word, but I get it done.
