Would having your heat cranked that high be adding to their "Climate Change". Wouldn't they want it set colder to use less fossil fuels to heat the house???? Quoting: 83toy Exactly. During the winter I don't turn on the heat until the house drops into the low 50's inside...if ever. Then I try to keep it about 57. For me, it's also a money issue these days. However...a comfy sweater makes the difference. It's how I grew up, and what I'm used to. When my mom came to stay last winter, I had to crank it up to 74. It was torture. -- TRUST THE PLAN -- .......WWG1WGA...... ____________________________ still in awe of many things |

...in awe of many things User ID: 77495320 United States 08/20/2019 07:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would never get a decent night's sleep at that temperature. Even with a fan blowing right on me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16593222 Supposedly, the ideal sleeping temperature healthwise is in the 60s. I think it's 68, but it might be 62. So, Nanny State wants you to: -Eat your GMOs and Frankenplant protein burgers -Drink your BPA/estrogenic and prescription drug and Fluoride-laden water -Be bombarded by wifi and who knows what else -Sleep at a temperature about 20 degrees hotter than optimal -Take prescription drugs that keep you going just long enough for profit, but never actually be cured I'm sure there are more rules I'm forgetting on being a good little world citizen. But if you follow them, you might get to the ripe age of 55 before cancer strikes you, which is fine, since it just makes for more profit off of you. Don't forget all the use of chemical scents and cleaners. Two great posts. The one thing I can't seem to remedy is he WiFi issue. It's hard to live without it. I have to wonder if bodies are more susceptible to WiFi at higher temps. That's the one thought that came to me as I read the thread. -- TRUST THE PLAN -- .......WWG1WGA...... ____________________________ still in awe of many things |

I can't sleep at 82 degrees.. too hot. I set my night furnace in winter at 60 in this well insulated house I now live in... ,,, and about 65 in the daytime. To require my furnace to make my house 82 at night would be to spend an incredible amount of money and waste energy. What the fuck do these people do with their god given minds.. apparently they don't have them. |

Quoting: Giselle22 I also use ceiling fans, 100% bamboo bedding, perpetual iced tea & swimming pool out back. Just come inside with a wet bathing suit on, even 82 degrees seems cold. I could set it even higher as I have low blood pressure, as heat does not bother me. I have set it at 86 degrees in the summer in Texas, but now I have a long haired cat. 82 degrees is hot for my cat as she will sleep on the tiled foyer floor. You could use a freestanding air-conditioning unit, some are 6,000 BTUs. Use this unit to your bedroom. Interesting. My normal blood pressure is 100/60 to 110/70. I'm also pretty much a half-pint, wearing clothes for teens. And yet, heat pretty much bothers me. Maybe I'm just an anomaly. Interesting. Its like that movie "The Devil" by M. Night Shamelan. Where the old lady turns around and she has that evil face instead of a nice old lady face. My mom says horrible things and then she screams "do not reply". A few hours later she's talking normal to friends on the phone or loving her cat. Quoting: FunnyStrange Yes, that is the kind of people I'm seeing exactly! Anybody priced water heaters lately? The sons-of-bitches want us all to go to "on demand" heaters, where you freeze your ass off in the shower, or wash the dishes in cold water all to "SAVE THE PLANET". We have one of those "on demand" water heaters here, and we love it because we never run out of hot water. We could run the hot water all day long, and it would never get cold. Also, our water is never freezing. The unit has a setting that allows us to adjust how hot we want the water to be. I think the writing is on the wall for what the globalists want to do to the Western nations. They want to fleece you, take everything that you so abundantly produce, and give it to the rest of the world while requiring you to lower your standard of living. Right now the USA has become the number one energy producer in the world, so why are they telling Americans to tighten their belts and adjust their thermostats? They've also hinted that they want to do the same with food. They've been encouraging you to eat bugs even though you produce a huge surplus of food. They want to take that food away from you and redistribute it globally while forcing you to eat like a third-worlder. Right now they're at the "encouraging you to do it" stage, but that will ultimately change into the "requiring you to do it" stage. Last Edited by BirdMom on 08/20/2019 11:30 PM |

Americans recognize bs, hopefully they haven’t lost that quality. I remember that all too well, and it's what got Carter tossed out of office. People got sick of waiting in line for hours to get gas and constantly being nagged about their energy usage. (The humiliating Iran hostage crisis and double-digit inflation did not help him either.) There was a limit to what people would tolerate back then. Honestly, I'm amazed that these days people are tolerating mile-long tent cities, piles of rat-infested garbage, and feces and needles in the streets. How could anyone possibly accept living conditions like that? I currently live in a third-world country, and that would never be tolerated here. I really don't understand how this could be happening in the USA. |
