At one time I lived in the Death Valley area and spent a lot of time on the roads between Shoshone, Beatty, and Panamint Springs, it was a rare day not to see at least one fighter jock at play and often got buzzed at something under 50 feet in full AB so got more eye level contact than most. One helluva toy the gubbermint gives those boys and free fuel too.

I've hiked a lot of those slot canyons, can you imagine the sound bouncing off the walls if you were in there when one flew by. Not sure of the canyon, maybe the one just north of Titus canyon or probably one of the panimint canyons.

One ran into a canyon wall about a month ago just a couple of hundreds yards from some people who were in the canyon to watch the jets doe it.

Nothing left of the plane ... and I imagine only pureed remains of the pilot.

That sucked, OP. I could do a better job farting on a paper plane.
