They serve a mamby pamby God. You are spot on! God visits the punishment for the sins of their fathers to even the third and fourth generations. The path to heaven is narrow and few there be that find it! He does not love everyone but is patient for the lost that they be found.
People choose evil rather than good and theywill all perish at His hand, not out of love but His Wrath on the ungodly!!
