Would you need your antidepressant if you did not have to work?

Had to take anxiety meds when owned business. Sold business, don't work, no stress, no pills.

That was 12 years ago. I'm far from wealthy. I live very simple .

Not antidepressants but anti anxiety and blood pressure.

Work = stress = health issues.

If I had all the money for a private island, and all that, the last thing I’d be thinking about is underage girls. There’s just so much better things to do than worry about getting off.

I don't take antidepressants and feel fantastic!

Psychotropics put me in a cloud where I can't differentiate what is dream, and what is reality.

However, since quitting the legal drugs (Cigarettes, Soda, Fried Foods) I have gotten even more centered within my natural state of being. No anxiety, No stress, and No Fapping.

You'd be amazed what your body can do, when not being influenced by outside interference(s).

there are plenty of natural ways to rid depression. sometimes it is a chemical imbalance, but vitamins, vit d3, and things like st. johns wrt can do wonders.

don't take the poison. it will fuck with your head in ways much worse than you can imagine.

Personally, I’ve taken them but not currently. I don’t think I would ever need it if not for stress with work. I also enjoy work though. Perhaps it is having to be on a schedule and not enough down time.

It's not the issue with work, it's the type of work too.

If one doesn't work, they'll be bored and depressed.

If one works in a shitty job, same result.

But if one works, has a purpose in life, this will result in happiness. This is very difficult for many people, some of it is luck.

Who still takes those things?

There are a dozen natural options to try, plus addressing deficiencies almost everyone has like with magnesium. Panax Ginseng is good to have on hand for mood adjustment. Many other adaptogens to try like ashwagandha. And of course, CBD oil.

Throw some spinach, carrots, and berries in a blender with some juice and chug that, you can feel the effects of those amino acids and vitamins within 30 minutes if you are deficient.

Walk in the sun for 30 minutes 3x a week and listen to some classical music, I listen to the audio Psalms also.

Also, add more keto, low carb foods to your diet.

Intermittent fast a few days of the week, and consider a 2-3 day fast a few times a year.

Fasting can do wonders for the mind and body, we weren't designed to wake up and eat food at the start of every day.

I'm depressed because I don't have a wife, children or family. Work is not the problem. Loneliness and Isolation is.

I don't need them to feel good about working because I love my job and I'm good at it.

You guys are drugged up on anti-depressants? I mean, if I'm sad I just get some beer. The idea of needing a pill because I'm sad just doesn't register. I think thats crazy.

I work at home but I put in about 60 hours a week... I never even tried one of those.......

Work was the impetus for antidepressants when they were prescribed. Things got milder, so voluntarily dropped the program.

Some people need them because they don't work.

Also, the work in and of itself isn't necessarily the cause, you've also got all of the stress you put on yourself by having a lifestyle that requires all of that work.

I cut my expenses to almost nothing and if I was really lazy I could work like 16 hours a week at minimum wage and still afford all of my bills. Takes a lot of stress off of you plate not having to worry about making that next car payment or getting evicted because you didn't make rent this month.

I get what you're saying about not spending so money that you need to work more. So many people don't realize they would more happy with less stuff and less stress.
