The bagel shop incident happened a couple months ago, but it did make the guy "internet famous" for a little while.

I actually saw him when I was flipping channels on tv a couple days ago. He was on one of those small claims court daytime shows. I guess he was supposed to get paid to do some sort of an exhibition boxing fight with "Screech" from Saved by the Bell (I know this sounds completely ridiculous, but it's actually true), but there was an issue of some sort that stopped the fight and caused the short guy and the promoter to go to a tv small claims court show to resolve it.
