After Jerome Powell's neutral-to-slightly-dovish-but-mostly-boring speech on Friday morning, investors could be forgiven for suspecting that this year's Fed-sponsored gathering in Jackson Hole might be disappointingly dull (especially with all that's going on in Trump's twitter feed, the escalating trade war and escalating geopolitical unrest).

Then along came former Goldman banker and current (outgoing) BOE governor, Mark Carney, who in his lunchtime address laid out a shocking, radical proposal - perhaps the most stunning thing to ever be unveiled at Jackson Hole - urging to replace the US Dollar with a "Libra-like" reserve currency in a dramatic revamp of the global monetary, financial and economic order.

So I get that the Bank of England wants to replace the US dollar as the world's reserve currency.
After all, the British bankers are probably still steamed that their Pound/Sterling was replaced by the USD.

But what is a Libra currency?

Libra currency is the one that facebook has proposed!

The human race is so dumb. They are the ones that make sure they remain debt slaves.

If crypto currencies controlled and invented by the elite then they would have shut them down long ago. Pretty obvious Bitcoin was just the bait to get people excited over the garbage. Pump it up to unbelievable levels and then the elite back another one which has been lurking in second or third place all along. Then Bitcoin crashes and the elite loot the suckers who bought into their bait crypto.

Anything but gold and silver as they cannot print Gold and silver endlessly. Nope, replace the U.S. fiat dollar backed by nothing and with a real value of zero with another fiat un-backed currency...crypto currency. A new currency which is no different that the U.S. dollar as they can print and manufacture as many as they want.

The only difference in the U.S. dollar and a crypto is the elite finally get a 100 percent digital currency that can be traced 24/7 via their computers and if you happen to be someone they dislike they just press a button and your wealth vanishes into thin air. No cash transactions and since they can see everything then everything can be taxed...the government will get their cut on everything now. You cannot run and you cannot hide any longer. They own you 100 percent.

Once the crypto takes over then you will "conform" to their dictates or you will be destroyed in the blink of an eye. Total control. full dominance

Tie bricks together and hope they float better! Big picture: move from gold to fake printed paper credit money, when that fails, aggregate them into the One World Currency.
