Original definition of a meme is something which is imitated.

What is being imitated?

All the nobody threads? The whole concept? Where u been under a rock?

If you're wondering the origin of the anomaly threads, I really have no idea. At first I thought it was a viral marketing campaign for the 2009 film "mr nobody" with Jared Leto.


But like memes do, it cought on and took a life of it's own. Maybe the concept predates the movie because of the fundimental similarities to a messiah figure.

I know the origin of the threads...you say a meme is an imitation of something...do you really think all these posters are imitating a viral advert for some movie?

Are you trying to say the threads are trying to summon something which GLP might presume to be some sort of messiah figure?

What is the origin? Did it start in glp and I just never noticed?

I'm saying it's inherently a chicken/egg problem. As far as summoning, I'd be more interested getting Alterwelt back on the forum.
