With that strong onshore flow of wind with the right side eyewall, wind and storm surge damage could be significant there. If the center passes off to the east of there however, the amount of damage would be greatly lessened. I don't see how you can predict an exact place. But it's typical path headed for Hatteras and old points around there. Albemarle sound will be pushing up water 10 ft. on the wind. So I called out the people who 10 days earlier were saying a Cat 5 was going to hit NY, when historically it never happened and you have to see the trends instead of spreading misinformation. For Michael--absolutely not-- i called for 1 of 2 solutions which was a Cat 4 or greater :) I just went back and read my post for accuracy :) |
