Ok, maybe not literally their lullabies, but good God, man, I feel really appalled by this catch-y children's song. If what she said is accurate then she is giving mixed messages during an emotionally charged child-ish rant. When you've willingly chosen the defeatist way as your way of life concerning mass shooters/mass murderers then fighting back at all is a moot point. Yay? Goodbye logic. It was nice knowin' ya. Move over, logic, emotional IQ is the tsunami of the future... [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] My bit about "emotional IQ" sounds stupid, I know, but have anyone else been seeing websites, ads, and/or other crap on the Internet for months now somewhat slowly creeping up on this "emotional IQ" crap? Logic is a man's domain almost exclusively these days. That's why everything important is being put out in emotional formats. So you decide on your own, despite your emotions being used against you. Logic based decision making on the other hand you'll get invaluable words from such individuals as HighImpactVlogs. I wonder how many of Generation Z is taking this anti-gun sentiment hook, line, and sinker so far. Even the adults in that video HighImpactVlogs was showing are no longer adults, but children in adult bodies. How utterly effed up is that? What you're good at, what triggers you, where you could improve knowledge/skills, etc. 2. You have the ability to control yourself. Meaning you don't let others push your buttons and react like an idiot. 3. You understand others might have a different view and while not endorsing it you can see where they might be coming from. Let's call it a bit of empathy. Example: I like dogs. I hate cats. A dead cat, to me, is a good start... I have, on the other hand, had dogs die of old age and to be honest it fucks me up, it depresses me. If you owned a cat as a pet and it died I could 'relate' to you on the loss of a pet. Not a cat, per se, but a pet. It's not sympathy, "I feel your pain" crap, it's being able to connect with someone on a human level more often than not. 4. Being able to manage the relationships you encounter in your day to day life; conflict, etc. without ending up in jail. Anything else is NOT emotional intelligence,it's sjw rationalizing bullshit or some goody two-shoes double speak or just a plain old misuse of the concept.
