Obama has done a few of those, but it was too much work for him, so a few foundations got together and had a few books written in their names and then bought up all the copies multiple printings and made them rich.

Candidates can keep what is left over, if they wish to do so.

Last election, I read they estimated Obama had close to a billion $ in campaign contributions.

And Obama was planted and backed by the Saudis... that should make you think.

If Obama really was a true democratic socialist, then he would have returned all those donations, or given them to a charitable organization.

All it requires is for a public figure to express a bit of liberal "I feel your pain" and most people on the left - and even some non-liberals - get a big swelling in their heart and think, how nice, how caring, how compassionate.

Then they blindly say, "Hope and Change" or "I'm With Her."

You get some of that same idiocy in the reverse with a few conservatives blindly loyal to a public figure who says things like, "I sacrificed for America in the Vietnam War!" People who'll have a soft spot in their heart for the John McCains of the US. But nothing like the blind loyalty that the left gives to outright slimeballs like Bill/Hillary and tricky US-hating smooth talkers like Barack.
