Average life expectancy until very recently was 75. 100 yrs ago you were lucky to see 60. 200 yrs ago you retired at 40.
Medicine keeps people alive longer. Facts.
Quoting: Ralphyboy 77855530 People used to die from infections until antibiotics were invented. Plus until about the 1970s almost everyone smoked, so that killed a lot of people (cancer and heart attacks/strokes).
