There was some problem with the tank and the lid was off. The family couldn't find the child and called 911. Sheriff and Fire responded. They searched the entire property and couldn't find her. On a hunch, a firefighter stuck his arm down into the tank and found the child's leg. He pulled her out and they tried to resuscitate to no avail. Who leaves the lid off a septic tank when there are toddlers running around? Stupid Mexicans from Mexico, that's who. Firefighters in Estacada said in a statement that they found the unnamed woman on Aug 20. lying in the tank with her face just above the surface of the raw sewage.
