User ID: 76388104 United States 08/28/2019 04:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "The guidance states that "U.S. citizen parents who are residing outside the United States with children who are not U.S. citizens should apply for U.S. citizenship on behalf of their children under INA 322, and must complete the process before the child’s 18th birthday." Good comment: "How is this a slap in the face to Americans who serve in the US Military? All this announcement does is follow current Federal Laws, as passed by Congress. It no longer allows for children born outside the United States to automatically be granted US Citizenship under the US Immigration and Nationality Act 320. Instead, it will now require applying for Naturalization under INA 322, which is the LAW. So in NO way is this denying children born TO US Military personnel or government employees residing outside the US...it will simply require some additional paperwork. My God, it's like you clowns just post comments based solely on 'Feelings' and 'Gut Reactions' without doing an iota of research. Cluck, Cluck, Cluck chirp the Leftist Hens."
