I opened my door one morning and a cat ran inside and just sat there lol.
I gave it some water and cut up some chicken from the night before and let it eat then put it back outside.

The cat just sat on the door step.

I finally said OK you live here now.

Best damn animal friend I have ever had.

If you don't adopt that cat and take care of it, you're gonna regret it for a long time - think about it a lot. The cat's probably old and gonna die in a year or two.

He's not old...I would guess a year or 2.

Secondly...why does everybody elses problem have to become MY PROBLEM?

A cat walks into my back yard & I am obligated to care for him for the next 15 years?

I don't even know if it's a he or a she...I never looked...and I know nothing about cats.

Atleast I'm familiar with dogs.
