Are the Dead able to see our thoughts and imagination
I'm not really one who follows spiritualism and religion but it's always something that's intrigued me as theres a lot of unknowns out there.

My part is I was a victim of psychological and emotional abuse as a child something of which didn't become apparent to myself until after the abuser had passed away, I have so many unanswered questions and a lot of pain to get through so I'm shooting at all angles here.

I'm asking to see if there are any actual studies credible studies that could help give clarity on spiritualism and the paranormal link to the afterlife.

Can those that have passed on (open minded thinking) see what we are doing, hear us and read our thoughts, like seeing into our minds and imaginations.

I've had dreams before where I've had loved ones who have passed have interacted with me and given me messages I usually attributed it to my mind processing my thoughts and playing them out in dreams to help me through trauma and answer questions but from my perspective and understanding, so I'm curious to see what else is out there but don't know where to begin.

Please respond with serious answers any input is welcome spiritualists, mediums & if religious please explain any verses quoted.

Thank you in advance hf

Do you feel like your abuser is still hanging around you and watching you? I would say the best way for them to lose interest is stop thinking about them or your past relationship with them. The more you think about them, the more they are drawn to you, like a magnet. However If they have advanced to a point where they have regrets about how they treated you, then they might be around you to help you. it helps them to advance by helping you, by making amends.

Re: Are the Dead able to see our thoughts and imagination
I can surely state that the dead can witness you throughout your life, those that may be connected to your soul's karma, if you will. It is more universal than the human mind can conceive as I myself only know parts & granules. I'm willing to reason that the ones that can hear your thoughts or enter your mind are of such angelic light that they dont think selfishly, in any atomic particle - thus it is their freedom to witness creation in this way.

I suggest you watch Astral City - a spiritual journey (something like that) - film is in Portuguese & is accredited to Brazil's most well-known psychic medium Chico Xavier. It's a good film & it may have some clues to your answers.

Dreams are certainly a gateway that we are able to witness & work through things; gain knowledge/experience/wisdom/etc.

One thing is for certain from my experiential knowledge & that is that much of the world's population has been in amnesia-induced ignorance - some for many lifetimes that they operate out of the chakras in the knee or the foot.

Practice forgiveness - you can move by leaps & bounds to otherworldly existences. See you there . . .

Forgive yourself. & do forgive others, for they know not what they do. The root of all evil lies in ignorance. Remember, you can move mountains . . .

There are several accounts of those who've had NDEs being able to read the minds of the living during their NDEs (and sometimes shortly thereafter also). Many of these accounts were later verified.

I have read a few articles on that matter but because they came back to life after flat lining it links to the theory of consciousness after death but that's only on the short term, my thoughts are more with the long term where people have been dead for a while hf

For myself I'd always see the abuser after he passed away occasionally do so now, but frequently in dreams I get visits some are quite distressing they're unable to accept what they've done other times being more remorseful...

What kinda of way has he brought stuff to you is it within your mind or physical items being found in random locations ?

And condolences by the way thanks for sharing hf

No, they can’t see thoughts or imaginings. They can see basic energy flows and all the other astral beings. Fairies, angels, demons and gods/goddesses can see and hear all your thoughts.

+5 Yes with a qualification: discarnate entities can.

We can too, but specifically when not in our bodies, else it is just empathic perception.

The dead can be watchers, but they can not interact or change the present or even send you messages.

Read Luke, They have Moses and the prophets if they don't obey them, why would they obey you... It was concerning Lazarus

As a missionary for fifty years, voices from the past are almost always voices from imitators.

Cant remember any that were helpful... and our ancestors can not make our decisions, each must choose.

IE..as Jesus said there is a bridge between us and them. They are asleep, until the Day of Reward or Judgment

Read the story about the rich man in hell in Luke 16.

[Luk 16:26 KJV] 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence.
Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation.
1 Corinthians 1611 AV KJ Bible
Chapter 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

NO.

The dead know nothing at all. They cannot see, think, hear, or do anything.

If your religion has taught you something different than that, you have been taught a lie.

Eccleisiastes 9 and verse 5 says:
"the dead know nothing at all" and verse 10 says: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your might, for there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave, where you are going."

The dead see nothing...They are asleep in their tombs....

Till The final Judgement...

Ecclesiastes 9:5 5For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.

Psalm 146:4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.

Genesis 3:19 19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."

Job 14:14-15 14 If someone dies, will they live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait for my renewal to come. 15 You will call and I will answer you; you will long for the creature your hands have made.
