Why would a law prevent actions by law breakers?

Law breakers dont obey laws.

Isnt it illegal to shoot people now?

Because most every mass murderer is a law abiding citizen, it's only after the the killings people say: OH! I didn't know he was a criminal.

1. It's NOT an honest question. Even considering changes to the 2nd Amendment is Sedition. Even your appeal to Honest Question is seditious.

We the people have a CONTRACT about guns. There is NOTHING to change. In fact, we need to roll back some infringements that have been stolen by the govt. Why should there be a minimum gun barrel length? Why can't I have a silencer? Why can't I own an automatic gun?
I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you.

Re: How would you change gun laws if you thought it would really change anything
I would first hold the people that we’ve charged with protecting the public and executing our laws accountable if they choose not to do so. I would then replace them with American citizens that will, paying them sufficiently so they are not as easily corrupted, and then I would prosecute those that break the law to the fullest extent allowed (within reason of course).

Those that twist the law to suit a political narrative, and corruptly pursue same for personal gain and/or power would be sent to a military prison, tried and executed if found guilty.

At the same time, I would outlaw all psychotropic/ssri meds, disband the propaganda arms of our MSM (holding most of the current conspirators fully accountable as well), and then set up institutions to handle the few fallouts that react negatively to the circle jerk mind fuck suddenly ending.

In a few short years thereafter, problem solved.
Within the surreal depths of "reality" lies the truth.

Mandatory gun safety class at the age of 16.
I'm saying this only because of video games and a kid truly does not know the nature of a weapon
 Quoting: Honch

Fuck you, they would try to make me use the safety and I REFUSE to lock the trigger on any of my weapons...

but you are wrong. Those laws didn't lead to law of gun confiscation. You and your "bombs are not guns" is just semantics.

Certainly mandatory gun safety classes taught to all children.

The poster who said bring back the psychiatric hospital for the truly mentally ill, get ‘em off the streets makes sense.

Much longer sentences for violent crime, and recidivist actors.

But most importantly,

go after each and every entity that seeks to upend our constitution with the full force and might of the USA.
Antifa, communists, NGO’s that promote “gun control”

these are enemies. They need to be expunged from the republic.

This.

Every one of these questions and the fucking questioners are people who want to either stir shit or lead you into "common sense" (as defined by whom?) gun laws and eventual disarmament. This conversation is a non starter for me. As far as I'm concerned, it's time to buy more ammunition when somebody comes around talking about this shit.

Exactly! Lets go back to the Wild West and have everyone have a gun or 2 on there person. I guarantee no more mass shootings. They would maybe get one or two people but because then someone would put them down.

Crazy people shouldn’t own guns.
Problem is Libtards try and paint Conservatives as crazy because they don’t support liberal bullshit.

So it should take 3 doctors to certify someone crazy and if any of those doctors is caught certifying someone crazy when they are not then they go to prison for life.

Force anyone who is physically able to drive to own a firearm. License to drive requires firearm purchase.

Make open or concealed carry not only normal in every state but also encouraged. Stores can encourage carry with a discount for those who do.

There's my gun legislation liberal cocksucker traitors.

Re: How would you change gun laws if you thought it would really change anything
All guns should be microchipped. If the microchip is removed or tampered with you loose your gun rights and face prison. Open carry for only hand guns. Anyone that has no criminal record or mental obstruction should be allowed to carry. Gun free zones in shopping centers where a security guard would be armed. Gun insurance should be kept on all open carry guns.

That's all I've got.

I do not want guns taken from the people that need them. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. hiding

New Law: Hold government officials including judges liable for "mistakes" such as setting violent nuts free instead of putting them in mandatory treatment.

Other examples: When the USAF did not add that one shooter's name to the list of dishonorably discharged so the nut/criminal was able to legally purchase a firearm.

That guy that shot the Congress woman in Arizona was well known to police having been involved in numerous incidents before. Judge let him go in every case.

Most of the mass shooters have been in trouble with the law before committing felonies but did not end up in jail.

Most of the gang shootings are by known felons. Obie Maladmin refused to prosecute the ones caught with firearms or ammo which should carry automatic federal sentencing.
